“Dragon Red” Fires Up A Black And White Nike Dunk Low

Black and white leather maintains a "Panda" look.

“Dragon Red” Fires Up A Black And White Nike Dunk Low

Low-top Nike Dunks aren’t nearly as hot as they were a few years ago, but even today, you’d be pressed to find a more popular summer shoe. Having pulled no punches when it comes to the sheer quantity of releases in recent years, Nike adds to its growing Summer 2024 Dunk Low lineup with a new “Dragon Red” colorway.

The shoe’s titular color is confined to the Swoosh, sole, and Nike branding on the tongue and heel, while black and white leather combine to produce a “Panda” look across the rest of the upper. Fans of “Chicago” and “Bred” Nike footwear have been able pick up various red/black Dunks that ode to each of those looks over the years, but this pair doesn’t fall within that category at all. Instead, the shoe’s “Dragon Red” hue sits at the intersection of red and orange, lending a somewhat Halloween-worthy look when matched with black overlays. It also wouldn’t be surprising to see fans of the Cincinnati Bengals, San Fransisco Giants, Philadelphia Flyers, and more co-opt the shoe given its neutral communication of popular team colors.

If you’d prefer a different colorway, check out images of the Nike Dunk Low “Viotech” also expected to drop Summer 2024.
