“True Camo” Dresses An Classic Pair Of New Balance 990v6

The latest 990x model shuffles towards a frequent NB colorway.

“True Camo” Dresses An Classic Pair Of New Balance 990v6

The New Balance 990v6 has been in the spotlight essentially since its introduction, with an additional bit of heat coming from its multiple inclusions in the MADE in USA SS24 catalog. Though those limited releases may outshine general release counterparts, it’s hard to see why when pairs like the New Balance 990v6 “True Camo” exist.

It’s something of a throwback look for the lifestyle shoe, cladding in an all-olive configuration that once dominated the New Balance catalog. A shade closer to brown marks the suede that runs down the eyestays and continues from the mudguard to the heel counter. Outside of that, the leather webbing in between as well as the underlying mesh panels all wear the titular shade. Closing out with a subdued grey and off-white midsole, the 990v6 presents in an accessible look that’ll easily slide into outfits year-round.

The New Balance 990v6 has already begun popping up at global retailers, with Australia’s Above the Clouds providing the looks you see here. A stateside release has been confirmed for May 2nd.

Staying on the NB front, the New Balance 550 continues its dominant run, including the recently unveiled New Balance 550 “You Need?”
