The Reebok Preseason 94 Low Returns In A Throwback Colorway

The revitalized model treks on with a starkly nostalgic edition.

The Reebok Preseason 94 Low Returns In A Throwback Colorway

With the Reebok Preseason 94 making its grand return in February, it’s clearer than ever that Reebok is making its archival backlog a true focus point for 2024. A few months later, they’re returning to that gridiron silhouette and continuing its run via the low-cut version.

The layered composition of the upper swaps between solid, perforated and punctured leather, speaking volumes to the maximalist design of the era. However, midsole may express it best, jagged and asymmetric as it traverses from wavy to square outlines around the shoe. Those fluent in the Reebok backlog will recognize the radial design that dresses the heel cup as well, a philosophy explored on other classics from the era like the Kamikaze II.

The black, white and teal palette featured here may not be the trademark Reebok colorway, but a few decades ago, it was certainly in the conversation. The aquatic hue is used here mostly as an accent shade, contrasting on the outsole, a triangular lace stay and the striped Reebok branding that’s interrupted by a side leather overlay. It’s an addition that adds just enough pop, with the grayscale format of the rest of the shoe helping to emphasize the overall vintage appeal.

The Reebok Preseason 94 Low is expected to drop sometime in April, arriving with a $100 MSRP. You can get a closer look at the pair via the full gallery included below.

Staying within retro bounds, the New Balance 1500 celebrates its 35th birthday with an April 4th release.
