Women’s “Iron Grey” Nike Air Max 97 Is The Latest Addition To The SWOOSH! Pack

An upcoming Nike Air Max 97 offers neutral Black, Iron Grey, and Summit White coloring with a splash of Blue Tint. On the outside, it isn’t all too different from your typical Christian Tresser-designed Air Max 97, sporting a familiar combination of mesh and leather on atop the iconic full-length air bubble. However, the insole features a small detail that sets it apart from other 97 models.

This sneaker will be the brand’s latest addition to its “Swoosh!” collection, which means the insoles have the same “Swoosh!” graphic that we’ve seen recently in other in-line Nike sportswear models, such as the Air Max 95, Air Huarache, and the Nike Air Max Plus. The images are akin to the doodles you might find on the margins of a high-schoolers notebook, which gives it a sense of raw authenticity.

The left shoe insole reads “Swoosh !!!” in a comic-like word bubble while the right shoe features “NIKE” in graffiti-like bubble letters. A scribbled Nike swoosh is present in both.

The Women’s only colorway is expected to drop in early 2024 with an anticipated price of $175.

In other news, the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” is set to release during the 2024 holiday season.
