adidas Just Added Air Bubbles To The UltraBOOST

A playful take on the UltraBOOST 1.0.

adidas Just Added Air Bubbles To The UltraBOOST

Did adidas just add Air cushions to their most popular running shoe of the 21st century? Their latest release revisits the original 1.0 model with a playful blend of textures, colors, and eye-catching designs in both dark and light variants to start the new year.

The key standout of this collection is the tinted air bubbles adorning the stripe cage, tongue, and heel counter, creating a distinctive protruded look. As such, we’ve affectionately and unofficially dubbed these neon-colored pairs the “Air Bubble” pack. Looking closely at the pockets on the tongue and heel counter, the screen-printed branding casts a shadow on the back, utilizing natural light to add another dimension to the design. That same theme continues on the insole, where a 3-D adidas logo appears in a futuristic retro-style branding akin to what you might see on a mid-90s music video.

Masterfully infused fun and innovation into this sneaker design while striking a balance, the three stripes brand has both of these pairs scheduled to release on January 1st for $190 each, joining a slew of other exciting New Year’s Day releases including these Valentine’s Day Superstars.
