Giannis Antetokounmpo’s New Nike PEs Bring The Fun Amidst A Loss

Etching his name in the record books once again on Thursday night following a 54-point outing against the Indiana Pacers, Giannis Antetokounmpo is dead-set on returning to the NBA Finals alongside new teammate Damian Lillard. Taking the court each night in tandem with his fifth signature silhouette, Giannis recently unveiled an all-new Zoom Freak 5 PE that celebrates his family’s number of birthdays throughout the fall and winter seasons.

Sporting the pair in a two-point win over the Detroit Pistons in early November, the Zoom-assisted silhouette echoes the titular aesthetics of a birthday celebration atop a blank white canvas. From the midsole and semi-translucent tread to the textile mid-foot and leather overlay, the entirety of the upper is cast in a colorless treatment while florescent pink shades illuminate the enlarged profile swoosh and the accents set atop the tongue. Anchoring the neon-accented effort even further along the cerulean blue collar lining, a blue, pink and yellow-speckled treatment ensues throughout every portion of the model – save the tongue tabs – in resemblance to the flakes found within Funfetti cake mix.

The Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Funfetti” PE isn’t expected to receive a broader release so make sure to keep an eye out for another appearance in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead via imagery from Giannis himself.
