“Malachite Green” Animates The Nike Air Max Plus

Much like Jordan Brand’s obsession with the “Lucky Green” treatment throughout the past year, Nike’s Sportswear division is similarly focusing on a green-centric treatment that’s set to be cast across a myriad of the Beaverton brand’s lifestyle offerings. Having already tapped an Air Force 1 Low and an upcoming Air Max 97, the Nike Air Max Plus becomes the latest effort to join the ensuing “Malachite Green” series.

Initially believed to be stamped with a classic gum outsole, official imagery paints a much more uniform picture without the use of any neutrals, instead leaning upon a monochromatic background. Jet-black shades do away with any gradient potential and instead, instills a clad pitch-dark treatment from toe to heel. Illuminated underfoot via the crisp white midsole and profile swooshes, the TPU strips are reserved for a color transition as greens transition to black just like its mid-foot shank. Elsewhere, exclusive “Malachite” shades animate the tongue tabs, inner lining and the full-length Max Air cushioning system below.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Air Max Plus “Malachite” below as we await further release details.

In other news, the Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” is currently expected to be released in Summer 2024.
