The Air Jordan 1 Low Prepares For Summer With Tropical Patterns

As anticipation for its Dior collaboration builds up, Jordan Brand has been teasing alternative styles of the Air Jordan 1. And while the dozens of retros may be the brand’s “olive branch” for the imminent “L’s” it’ll hand out on said collection, many of them are impressive in their own right.

Previously seen in signature two-tone “University Blue/Red” colorways, the Jordan 1 Low is ushering in the warmer months of the year with a recently surfaced “Light Orewood Brown” outfit. Off-cream leather overlays at the forefoot, midfoot and heel are reminiscent of a sand; The faint-brown hue also takes over laces, tongues and collars, though the latter two placements present it in a satin-like finish. Elsewhere, the Summer-vibes continue as varying tropical plant graphics decorate “White” toe box and midfoot underlays. Branding stays on theme, but partly deviates in its palette: profile Swooshes go golden in “Amarillo,” while Jumpman logos on the tongue take a dip in “Laser Blue.” Down below, a white midsole/black outsole combination completes this tropical arrangement.

Take a closer look at this Summer-ready Jordan 1 Low here below and anticipate pairs hitting Nike.com in the coming months.
