Serena Williams’ Nike Air Max 1 “LA” Available Now

Serena Williams’ Nike Design Crew project is back with new releases for 2024. Once again featuring the Air Max 1, her latest pair borrows its themes from Los Angeles, and features some metallic detailing.

Serena Williams’ Design Crew project with Nike first launched in Fall 2023, giving the iconic tennis star her own version of 3 essential Nike styles, the Dunk Low, Air Max 1, and Huarache. Each model was modified enough to look different from its original form, and sporting some unique colors and materials. Now, the SWDC series is back, with another pair of the AM1 for Spring 2024. This time, she and her team are simply recoloring the retro runner, adding a few choice details throughout. The model comes in a particle beige and rust pink coloring, using mesh as a base and leather and suede for the overlays. The mudguard features some embroidered detailing throughout, while the lace dubrae and top eyelets come in metallic pink gold.

The new Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air Max 1 has released from Nike’s website, on March 22nd, 2024. The “Los Angeles”-themed pair in beige and pink is available from the brand’s website for $150.
