New Balance has been having a lot of fun with color blocking on their new 9060 silhouette, playing with the multitude of layers in different shades. This week, we got an early look at a ‘Light Blue’ pair, coming soon.
The New Balance 9060 has seen a healthy serving of in-line colorways in recent weeks, after its introduction in May in collaboration with JoeFreshGoods. For the shoe’s initial releases, the Boston brand was pulling from their all-star lineup of classic colorways, covering the shoe in neutral greys, blues, and black shades. Now, they are adding some interesting fresh styles to the mix, including this soft ‘Light Blue’ look. The shoe features a slight variation in shades of blue across its upper, giving it the look of a dip-dyed shoe where materials take on the dyes differently. The blue tones cover the 9060’s mesh base and most of the outer layers, broken up intermittently by cream white and brown shades throughout.
NEW BALANCE 9060 ‘LIGHT BLUE’ RELEASE INFORMATION
New Balance’s soft new look for the 9060 has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to drop sometime in Spring 2023. The smooth ‘Light Blue’ look will be available from the Boston brand’s website, retaining the usual price tag of $150.
