The Asics GT-2160 has been an immensely popular model since its reintroduction to the brand’s catalog last year. While the collaborative releases have been some of the best, their in-line colorways are holding their own, like the upcoming “Seal Grey” pair seen here.
The GT-2160 from Asics returned last year, retrofitting the 2011 runner for a new life as a casual sneaker. The Japanese brand has released dozens of colors for the revitalized model, including a large selection of excellent collaborative releases, with more still on the way for 2024. This week, a new “Seal Grey” edition has begun to land in stores, ahead of its global Asics release later this month. The latest look features a mesh base layer in jet black, adding its synthetic and leather overlays in the “Seal Grey” shade, a steely mix that appears almost green in certain light. Silver accents are layered on top for the Asics branding, while white laces and midsoles complete the look.

Asics has yet to announce their release of the next colors for the GT-2160 runner, though pairs have already started to land at secondary retailers like Champs as of May 6th, 2024. Seen here in the “Seal Grey” and black makeup, pairs will be available from the brand’s website for the usual $120.
