Sneaker brands are gearing up to release special colorways of their models to celebrate this year’s Olympic Games. This week, adidas’ Response CL runner has surfaced in a “USA” theme, coming soon.
The adidas Response CL has been a very low-key, but consistent piece of the brand’s lifestyle offerings over the last few years. Built on the midsoles of the Response Cushion from 2003, the model is keeping the brand’s early ’00s performance running aesthetic alive, through plenty of in-line releases and collaborations. This week a new pair for Summer 2024 has surfaced, giving the silhouette a “USA”-themed makeover, just in time for the Olympic Games. The new pair sports a Night Indigo blue mesh base layer, adding its many overlays in shades of grey, white, and metallic silver. Bright scarlet red accents are added throughout the shoe to complete the color palette.
ADIDAS RESPONSE CL “USA” RELEASE INFORMATION
adidas’ new colorway of their retro Response CL sneaker, in a “USA” theme, has not been announced for release yet, but will likely land sometime this Summer. The “Night Indigo” style will be available from both the Three Stripes and select retailers, with a $140 price tag.
