Following their widely successful collaboration released back in 2021, Ugg and Telfar are teaming up again to bring audiences another comfy cozy collection of footwear and apparel, this time in denim.
The unisex collaborative effort forgoes Ugg’s usual textural suede twin-face sheepskin in favor of dark-wash denim, just in time for fall. The announcement of their collaboration was shared on both brands’ Instagram accounts today, accompanied by a short and dreamy “UGGbelievable” teaser video featuring musical artist Shugga.
The video offered fans a sneak peek at some of the collaborative pieces given the denim treatment accompanied by fuzzy white shearling trim including chunky ankle-length boots, mini shorts, vests and, of course, their shopping bag. The bags will likely be available in small and medium sizes based on the styles they stocked during previous drops.
Telfar’s first collaboration with the Southern Californian brand similarly saw a range of shearling footwear, apparel and accessories including hoodies, boots, robes and a remix of Telfar’s iconic shopping bag. Their previous collaboration heavily utilized Ugg’s neutral tan suede twin-face sheepskin textile. Each design incorporated Telfar’s unique logo along with tan suede and fuzzy shearling detailing. The resulting collaborative effort was a major success and is still available for purchase online.
Ugg x Telfar’s cooperation is set to drop on Sept. 23 on Telfar’s website according to their teaser.
Telfar Clemens, the creative director of Telfar, created the unisex fashion brand back in 2005. Since then, the brand has become world-renowned, thrust into the mainstream thanks in part to their iconic shopping bag launched back in 2014.
The brand has become so big in fact that it allowed Clemens to snag a CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year prize. Telfar’s success was also met with numerous collaborations including White Castle, Century 21, Mission Chinese Food, Ssense, Opening Ceremony and even Budweiser.
