Crocs and Simone Rocha teamed up once again on a reiteration of four of the footwear brand’s silhouettes.
The Simone Rocha x Crocs 2.0 collection was presented at the luxury fashion house’s fall 2024 show during London Fashion Week. The collaboration included four of Crocs’ silhouettes, including the Siren heeled Clog, Crush Boot, platform Stomp Clog and the Classic Lined Clog.
Each style was created as a fusion of both brands’ signature aesthetics. Inspired by the Victorian and Baroque periods, the sets were embellished with oversized Jibbitz charms, pearls, metallics, crystals and spikes. The platform silhouettes were also adorned with Rocha’s signature Rocha’s signature pearls which were placed in clusters. A furry texture was seen on the Classic Lined Clog.
The two brands teamed up for the first time last September. Also debuting at London Fashion Week, the collaboration included a black and white colorway on a pair of platform clogs. Each set was adorned with a mix of oversized and miniature pearls, as well as Rocha’s signature floral crystals. The runway moment marked Crocs’ latest high-fashion collaboration last year.
Crocs is constantly reinterpreting its Classic Clog to allow customers to represent their favorite brands. The simple set allows for many partnerships with several companies to create a unique design involving endless color and texture options that truly represent the brand’s aesthetic.
This year alone, the casual footwear brand has already released a few collaborations, including a two-piece collection inspired by the Japanese anime series “Naruto.” The franchise partnered with the brand on two colorways, which included silver metal plating along the shoe’s front. The detailing on the sets are meant to mimic Naruto’s and Kakashi’s everyday outfits in the show.
The Simone Rocha x Crocs 2.0 collection will be released online and in select retailers worldwide starting in August.
