Salomon is reuniting with MM6 Maison Margiela on a brand-new collaboration.
The duo’s second part of their ongoing union spotlights its new mid-height sneakers. The Cross Mid style, which retails for $355, features a mid-hight sneaker with rounded toes. Its waterproof polyester uppers, which form a ripstop gaiter silhouette, are cinched by toggle cord ties for a distinctly outdoor-ready appearance.
Adding to the hybrid shoes’ nature-worthy shape are its soles, a round-toed rubber base with thick lugged treads inspired by Salomon’s own Speedcross sole patterns. Co-branded logos complete the style with a collaborative flair; Salomon’s sits at the heel of each shoe’s soles, while Margiela’s signature numbered labels are placed atop each shaft.
Currently, the style is available in two modern colorways: dark red and pale blue white soles, and deep blue and white with gray soles.
In addition to the utilitarian sneaker style, MM6 Maison Margiela’s second collaboration with the outdoor brand also includes a new backpack. The $275 XT 15 style features a nylon based lined with polyester, complete with top zippers and seven pockets for a variety of secure storage options. A large co-branded logo finishes the piece — available in black, red and blue colorways — with a graphic flair.

The moment marks Salomon’s latest brand collaboration this year. The label debuted its first MM6 collaboration with a set of toggle-cinched sneakers, which were virally worn by Rihanna to perform in the 2023 Super Bowl. Throughout 2023, Salomon has also leaned into its collaborative spirit with co-branded collections and product drops with a range of labels, including Sandy Liang, Palace and Dover Street Market, among others.
