Pharrell’s Humanrace x Adidas Samba Returns This Week With Two Tasteful and Earthy Colorways

In less than a year, Pharrell‘s Humanrace line has become a prolific source of Adidas Sambas. A total of 11 colorways have released since the end of last November, and as this one begins two more more versions of the trendy sneaker will arrive with tasteful color-blocking.

Arriving in “White/Pink” and “Ash Grey/Green,” the two Humanrace Sambas make use of a premium ECCO organic leather sourced from the Netherlands. The former’s appearance is exactly what it sounds like, but the latter appears more like turquoise accents sitting on a sand base, despite the official color names listed. Both favor monochromatic looks for the majority of the shoe, with accenting colors arriving on the ziz-zag striping and collar. The pink variant then brings an additional pop of color through the laces.

“Humanrace’s newest Samba was conceived through our sense of creating products that are authentic and speak to a lifestyle which is relatable, yet evaluated through attention to detail, and without compromise,” Humanrace creative director Edward Robinson said in a press release. “This is twinned with the history of the Samba, creating a product for everyday use, that is for now and the future.”

To highlight the sneakers’ earthy hues, photographer Liam MacRae shot the capsule’s campaign on the beach.

Both new Humanrace x Adidas Samba colorways will release this Friday, Nov. 3, through the Adidas Confirmed app and website, Humanrace’s website, and select additional retailers. Pricing is set at $180 per pair.
