The longtime collaborators are bringing some of Disney‘s most beloved characters to a range of classics and newer hits from Vans. A pair of Authentics looks back to Disney’s origins with a black and white color scheme featuring patches for Mickey and crew, as well as “Disney 100” embroidery. The Old Skool continues the same theme in kid’s sizing, but from there the options get much more colorful, including an additional Authentic featuring the same assortment of characters.

An instant standout is the Knu Skool made for the Lion King‘s Scar, which utilizes a suede to match his fur along with black and off-white. His namesake scar appears beneath the Jazz Stripe, while silhouettes of his hyena cronies appear on the heel. Upon flipping the shoe over, you’ll be greeted with Scar’s face split between the two outsoles.

The Old Skool Stackform invokes another villain in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’ Evil Queen. A deep red velvet upper takes after the poison apple, and the Evil Queen’s bony hand holds the fruit for a lace attachment. Spelled out across the two heels in embossing is, “Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?”

The static footwear is rounded out with a SK8 Hi featuring black suede and an all-over print canvas hosting a variety of Disney villains. Five new prints will also be added to Vans’ footwear customization platform with Lilo & Stitch, Disney princesses, and other characters represented. A range of apparel continue the 100 Club and villain themes, including a bomber jacket, cardigan, hoodies, T-shirts, and accessories.

Look for the full collection to release Oct. 6 through Vans’ website and physical stores. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet but should be commensurate with Vans’ typical price range.
