Adidas and Patrick Mahomes launched their Mahomes 1 “Away” sneakers inspired by the Kansas City Chiefs‘ on-the-road lifestyle and their loyal fans.
The “Away” colorway is a mix of white with red accents that nod to the Kansas City Chiefs’ team colors. The high-performance style includes innovative overlays that create additional lockdown and stability during dynamic movements along with ripstop stretch woven uppers that add durability and protection.
Additionally, the footwear features sleek white lace-up closures, red striping detailing on the sides, a tongue-less bootie construction that creates a sock-like fit and unique Boost cushioning in the heels that offers the midsole cushy comfort and responsiveness. The athletic sneaker style features elements of Mahomes’ style all throughout.
“Our fans are everything to us, whether that’s at home or on the road, the Chiefs Kingdom rolls together,” said Mahomes. “This colorway is dedicated to all those fans who make the trip or have their roots in Kansas City. There’s much more to come next year as my partnership with Adidas continues to grow.”

Prior to this drop, Mahomes and Adidas dropped their signature training shoe, the Impact FLX, and the Future Icons apparel collection back in August 2021. The football star left his mark on every design aspect of the collaborative work down to the creation and introduction of signature logos.
