Palm Angels and Suicoke teamed up on a spring 2024 collaboration that you’ll be able to get your hands on soon enough.
The Italian luxury label and the cult Japanese footwear brand collaborated on five statement sandals, including three styles for both men and women and two playful pairs for children.
The collection includes a black thong-toe flip-flop sandal with puffy straps and a black velcro strap sandal in the vein of Suicoke’s Depa-2Po. The latter—which is styled with socks in the campaign imagery—is rendered in both black and white. Each style incorporates an elevated platform and co-branded details on the straps and footbeds.
The press release states, “Shaped with precision and passion, each sandal embodies the Palm Angels ethos of fearless style and Suicoke’s commitment to comfort.”
The two brands have previosuly collaborated on buckled slides in 2017.
Palm Angels was founded by Milan-born art director and photographer Francesco Ragazzi in 2011. Starting as a photo project focusing on Los Angeles skate culture, it would transform into a book published by Rizzoli in 2014. It wasn’t until 2015 that the brand would start producing head-turning designs stamped with Palm Angels. The brand has also collaborated with Tod’s, Clarks Originals and Vans in the past.
As for Suicoke, the Japanese brand got its start in 2006 and has made a name for itself by crafting innovative, comfort-driven sandals, as well as shoes and boots. The label has collaborated with a number of brands over the years, including Dr. Martens, Bape, Carhartt, Missoni, Lanvin and Drake’s OVO.
The exclusive Palm Angels for Suicoke collection will be available to shop soon on palmangels.com and at select Palm Angels stores and retailers worldwide.
