Crocs Creates Two New Clogs Inspired by ‘Naruto’ Characters

Crocs has partnered with the “Naruto” franchise on two new iterations of its classic clog silhouette, with a character-driven twist.

The new $55 Crocs shoes will be available in two colorways: a bright orange and a deep forest green that mimics Naruto’s and Kakashi’s everyday animated outfits, respectively.

Both pairs are adorned with a quilted heel strap in a matching shade and are finished with a small square of silver metal plating along the shoe’s front. The clogs are additionally decorated in character-themed Jibbitz, which include three-dimensional motifs, thematic elements, and direct character likenesses from the show.

Crocs, with its simple footwear silhouettes resulting in endless options for uniquely colored, patterned and textured iterations, is no stranger to collaborations. In 2023 alone, Crocs partnered with several high fashion brands, beloved franchises, and popular individuals on innovative shoes designed to capture the audience of a new market.

The brand’s previous collaborative endeavors have included a “Barbie” pink platform clog covered in character-themed Jibbitz, a green and brown “Shrek” themed clog adorned with a fuzzy ankle strap and blemish-coated base, a textured slide sandal with footwear designer Salehe Bembury in a bright shade of blue and even a pair of bright yellow ankle boots with American art collective Mschf.

The “Naruto” collaboration will be available to purchase at footlocker.com on Feb. 6.

“Naruto,” a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, follows the titular character Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who yearns to harness his powers while training alongside his sensei Kakashi Hatake. The series was released in 1999.
