For the last century, Disney’s playful animations and characters have found their way into our hearts and pop culture. As Disney celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023, they’ve launched whimsical collaborative merchandise for fans of all ages. Aldo is serving up sparkly pumps, sneakers and loafers for their Platinum Collection with Disney, while Tommy Hilfiger offered up manga versions of Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald and Daisy Duck in low- and high-top sneakers.
Vans and Adidas have both offered Disney shoe collaborations for years in kids and adult sizes, with the former first uniting with Disney in 2015 for the Young at Heart collection, marrying classic Vans shapes with classic Disney colors and characters. Adidas’ anniversary collection includes Mickey-emblazoned men’s football cleats, a silver Ultraboost style with black and red stripes and more. Havianas, Crocs and Melissa have also linked up with Disney over the years, and even Gucci joined in on the fun with a Donald Duck loafer in 2017.

Gucci x Donald Duck Loafers

The shoes were worn on the runway and sold at select Gucci stores, and featured both iconic brands’ names etched in the insole.

Vans x Disney Sneakers
Image Credit: Vans Vans first collabed with Disney back in 2015 for the Young at Heart collection marrying classic Vans shapes with classic Disney colors and characters for kids and adults. Their Disney 100th anniversary collection features suede and canvas kicks in deep colors inspired by villains like Scar and the Evil Queen. There are also low-tops with patches of Mickey and friends in black and black with primary colors, as pictured here.

The second, dubbed The Platimun Collection, is a silver, blingy, glam version of the beloved mice, once again decorating pumps, sneakers and purses, with sparkle and rhinestones galore.

Havianas x Disney Sandals

This one features Minnie Mouse on one sandal, and “Frozen” and “Monsters Inc” characters on the other, paired with a classic red and white polka-dot strap. Havianas also issued a rainbow-hued Pride collection in collaboration with Disney this year.

Tommy Hilfiger x Disney Sneakers

In addition to mens, womens and kids clothes, they also have low- and high-top shoes featuring the fun illustrations of Mickey and friends.

Crocs x Disney Shoes
Image Credit: Disney Back in 2006, plastic clog king Crocs signed a licensing deal with Disney, and has been putting out collab designs for kids and adults ever since. Pictured here, their latest 2023 designs include a festive Christmas Disney Croc in red and green complete with Jibbitz charms in the shape of a 3D present and Mickey-shaped mistletoe. Crocs also offered new clogs inspired by the “Cars” movie this year.
