Schutz has officially launched sneakers. Today, the brand announced the drop of its first sneaker collection featuring the ST-001 style.
“The ST-001 is for the bold, fashion-forward, and on-trend consumer,” the company said, noting the shoe’s glitter embellishments and bold stripes.
Within the collection are two options, the ST-001 and the ST-BOLD, which is a platform version. Each sneaker has a terrycloth lining and is available in multiple colorways, including silver, gold, white as well as black and white with gold and silver glitter detailing.
The shoes are priced between $138 and $148. All styles will be available for purchase online at schutz-shoes.com and at Schutz stores now.
The category expansion is part of the Brazilian brand’s recent growth efforts. In May, Schutz opened it’s new flagship in the heart of New York’s Soho neighborhood. The location comprises 1,700 square feet of shopping space and an additional 2,000-square-foot storage space. It can house about 25,000 pairs of shoes in the back of house.
“This was a big dream for me, and there was so much energy around it,” said Alexandre Birman, founder of Schutz and CEO of parent company, Arezzo & Co.
