Rihanna revamped casual athleisure with a slick twist for her latest Savage X Fenty campaign, promoting the brand’s Savage x League lounge collection, which was released in September.
As shared on Instagram, the designer and musician posed in a new photoshoot for the label’s fall 2023 imagery. The clip found her walking up and down stairs in a set of Giuseppe Zanotti‘s black Intriigo mules — a $795 style with glossy patent uppers, notably featuring sharply pointed soles.
The luxury label’s slip-on shoe was accented by curved synthetic toe straps, while earning a metallic glint from gold paneling on the edge of its leather insoles. Thin lacquered stiletto heels totaling 3.54 inches in height completed the style with a sharp height boost.
Rihanna’s Zanotti heels added a dynamic edge to the rest of her Savage X Fenty outfit: a black tracksuit, featuring a checkered zip-up jacket and matching joggers with dark green paneling. The sporty set was given a further boost of glamour with an array of jewelry, showing the musician’s penchant for mixing luxe embellishments and casual daywear together: Eera’s green chain, pearl strand and pavé diamond pendant necklaces, accentuated with diamond hoop earrings and gleaming rings for a sparkling finish.
For Rihanna, no shoe is too bold — or heel too high. The “We Found Love” singer has worn a wide range of shoes over the years, including sky-high heels and chunky sneakers. Rihanna’s red carpet styles often include strappy sandals, platforms and pointed-toe pumps by Amina Muaddi, Prada and Tom Ford that coordinate with her outfits. Her off-duty styles also include similarly daring sandals and boots by Celine, Givenchy and Saint Laurent.
