Mary J. Blige leaned into her penchant for sharp boots for her latest musical performance.
While taking the stage at The Glasshouse for the 2023 Golden Heart Awards, which benefitted the nonprofit God’s Love We Deliver, Blige made a slick statement in a pair of pointed-toe boots. The Grammy Award-winning musician’s set featured leather over-the-knee uppers with white, gray and black uppers, complete with sharp toes and closed counters.
The sleek set included allover python embossments for a textured reptilian flair, while thin stiletto heels — which totaled at least 4 inches in height — brought Blige’s shoes a daring finish.
Blige’s bold footwear added a sharp edge to her equally textured Michael Kors outfit for the occasion: a smooth ivory lambskin coat covered in tiered layers of fluffy patchwork fur. The $6,990 Camo style was chicly cinched with a thin white belt to complete the “Family Affair” singer’s attire, smoothly channeling the same vintage ’70s glamour seen throughout Kors’ fall 2023 collection. Layered diamond rings added a sparkling burst of glamour to finish her attire.
