Kate Middleton Re-Wears J. Crew Heels at Vsi Razom Community Hub Visit

Princess Kate Middleton revisited one of her key fall shoes this week — which she’s had in her closet for over 10 years.

On Wednesday, the royal stepped out in a pair of J.Crew‘s Avery heels while visiting the Vsi Razom Community Hub — which aids refugees arriving to the United Kingdom from Ukraine. The tweed slip-on shoes, which featured a plaid pattern in beige, black, gray and red hues, included triangular pointed toes topped with black tassels. For a subtle, balanced height boost, the loafer-like style was finished with short block heels.

Middleton’s footwear leaned into her penchant for re-wearing beloved shoe styles from her own wardrobe. In fact, this particular shoe is over a decade old — as the royal first stepped out in the heels in Oct. 2010 while visiting Canada. Since then, she’s re-worn the pair on multiple occasions over the years, from official visits to charity events.

In this instance, Middleton’s footwear added a preppy finish to a neutral outfit: a white collared shirt and knit gray sweater vest, which were cozily paired with gray wool trousers. The set was accented with small gold huggie earrings, which were lined in pearls for a dash of formal elegance.

Middleton is more typically seen in pointed-toe pumps from Emmy London, Jimmy Choo and Stuart Weitzman, among others. Her go-to style is Gianvito Rossi’s “Gianvito 105” pumps, which she owns in five colors. In addition to her royal rotation of heels, the princess also wears affordable all-white sneakers from New Balance, Adidas, Superga and Zara on and off duty.
