Elizabeth Banks dazzled in a full sequin look while in attendance at the Golden Globe Awards 2024 held in Los Angeles on Sunday. Banks is one of many celebrities to be presenting during tonight’s star-studded ceremony.
For the ceremony, the “Cocaine Bear” director was outfitted in a pair of sequin sandals in black to match her dress. The shiny pair featured jet-black uppers covered in sequins accompanied by thick straps that sat across the tops of her toes, around her ankles and wrapped around her heels, securing the footwear in place.
Bank’s footwear also included thin but sturdy stiletto heels ranging from 3 to 4 inches in height. The sequined accents all throughout the footwear silhouette acted to offer the thespian’s ensemble that extra touch of glam.
Going matchy-matchy, Banks was outfitted in a custom black sequin Dolce & Gabbana gown. The form-fitted garment featured a strapless corsetted bodice accompanied by a floor-sweeping skirt. The designer dress was dappled with high-shine sequins.
The skirt of Banks’ dress featured a short slit in the back that offered the silhouette a roomy feel while also allowing the actress a wide range of movement. Finishing off her look, Banks wore a variety of silver jewelry fitted with ornate and nautical pearls.
The Golden Globe Awards celebrate the top performances across film and television. This year’s ceremony is hosted by comedian Jo Koy and features a star-studded afterparty presented by Billboard and Rémy Martin.
Viewers can watch the Golden Globes live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
