Beyoncé brought a glitzy take to Barbiecore while celebrating LeBron James‘ 39th birthday this week. The star attended the Studio 54-themed bash with husband Jay-Z, as well as guests including Adele, Kevin Hart and Anthony Davis.

During the occasion, Beyoncé stepped out in a towering pair of Valentino‘s pink Tan-Go pumps, as shared on Instagram. The “Renaissance” musician’s $840 (was $1,200) style featured glossy bubblegum-pink leather uppers accentuated by thick 6-inch heels, creating a dynamic silhouette.

Beyoncé’s footwear was complete with platform soles, narrowed round toes and thin ankle straps cinched with golden buckles. The style added a bright burst of color to her equally pink attire: a custom red, white and pink Missoni minidress designed by Filippo Grazioli, complete with allover pink zigzag crystal embellishments and pink crystal-coated side straps.

Stylist Shiona Turini accentuated Beyoncé’s look with an array of bejeweled accessories, including crystal-framed sunglasses, a large blue gemstone ring and crystal starburst post earrings. A pink embellished version of Valentino’s Locó handbag — retailing for $3,843 (was $5,490) — finished the “Mine” singer’s outfit with a burst of sparkle, while also embracing “Barbiecore,” a 2020’s trend that highlights dressing in pink shades to proudly embrace one’s femininity.

Beyoncé’s appearance at James’ birthday party was her latest following a runaway year. In 2023, the musician launched the viral world tour for her album “Renaissance” — complete with an array of glamorous, futuristic and edgy outfits from brands including Loewe, Marc Jacobs, Ferragamo, Rick Owens and more. The singer continued the album’s celebration with the release of her “Renaissance” concert film, which launched in cinemas in Dec. 2023.
