Donning an all-Bottega fit, the event came on the heels of his show stopping red carpet appearance at the Met Gala earlier that evening where he wore a pair of Margiela X Louboutin shoes that featured a sleek black design, complemented by a side zipper and an embellishment of white and brown fur on the top. The boots mirrored a pair the artist wore for his “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig this past October, where he donned narrow-toed black leather boots complete with thick heels for a little extra elevation.

Recognized as a rising fashion icon, the musician counts Versace, Louis Vuitton and Burberry as some of his favorite footwear designers, frequently being seen in embellished loafers and heeled boots. When he isn’t wearing formal shoes, you can typically find him in a casual pair of sneakers. In late October, the star appeared on an episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” sporting a pair of his Response CL sneakers made in collaboration with Adidas. The sneakers featured a chunky composition in a cream shade with brown and purple accents.

About the shoes

Bad Bunny elected to wear a simple pair of white boots likely from Bottega Veneta for the 2024 Met Gala after party. Crafted with patent leather, the silhouette featured a pointy toe box complete alongside a white upper and brown outsole. The shoes also consisted of a block heel measuring between 1 and 2-inches, in-line with the singer’s love for wearing shoes with a slight heel for formal events.

About pointed-toe shoes

Pointed-toe shoes are a classic style that blends together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion. Regarded as a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, the popularity of the model started re-emerging again at the start of the 2020s. In 2024, the style started on an upward swing with stylists recommending pointed shoe styles to achieve simple and classic looks for spring and summer.

The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and celebrates the Costume Institute’s annual exhibits. This year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” celebrated the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit. The 2024 event was notably co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
