LA3C Music Festival Will Return to Los Angeles in November With Erykah Badu and Herbie Hancock

The star-studded LA3C Festival is officially back this fall — complete with a brand-new lineup.

From Nov. 10-12, the three-day festival will return to downtown Los Angeles to celebrate highlights of the city’s entertainment and food industries. Held across LA’s historic Orpheum Theatre, Los Angeles Theatre, Palace Theatre and the Theatre at the Ace Hotel, the occasion will encompass a wide variety of musical performances. Erykah Badu and Herbie Hancock will serve as the event’s main headliners, with additional musical acts including Robert Glasper, Flying Lotus, Terrace Martin and more.

On the food front, the Festival has teamed up with food experience platform Biite — which promotes exclusive restaurant world pairings and events — to showcase a Los Angeles-focused outdoor plaza for attendees. Totaling 50,000 feet, the experimental “Marketplace on Main” lineup will include a bar program and a range of food vendors, live cooking and new concepts from restaurants including Thunderbolt, A’s BBQ and Leonardo’s Pasta Bar. Adding to the experience will be Market performances by Questlove, Novena Carmel and Kamasi Washington, as well as a Do-Over-hosted party to close the event.

The Festival will also see the debut of its new Bazaar on Broadway, featuring a vendor assortment of musical artifacts. The occasion will notably feature items sold by the Black business-centric Black Market Flea, as well as the vinyl and music seller In Sheep’s Clothing. Rounding out the Festival’s activations lineup is its cinema programming, presented by Women Under the Influence” (WUTI), which emphasizes female-led films.

Last year, the first LA3C Festival was held at Los Angeles State Historic Park from Dec. 10-12. The occasion included a range of performances from artists including Snoop Dogg, Seventeen and Maluma, according to Billboard. The event also featured a salon-style space that hosted various panels, as reported in Variety.

Maluma performs on the LA3C Stage during the LA3C festival held at Los Angeles State Historic Park on December 11, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.
