Converse is teaming up again with A-Cold-Wall for its latest collaboration of 2023.
The two brands reunited in time for the autumn season, partnering on a winter-ready capsule collection. A key style in the line is the returning Chuck 70 Geo sneaker — which A-Cold-Wall and Converse have revamped with a monochrome, jet-black color palette for the cooler months.
The edgy sneakers feature their signature high-top uppers, cast in smooth paneled fabric with technical overlay. The style is given a utilitarian edge, however, from its thin front zippers — as well as its thick black rubber outsoles, which feature pointed and rounded shapes with a ridged base. Small counter loops complete the pair with a practical spin, while Converse side logos and A-Cold-Wall’s signature minimalist emblem add a faint pop of graphics.
However, on this occasion, the pair’s collaboration doesn’t only feature shoes. In addition to their new Chuck 70 Geo Forma sneakers, Converse and A-Cold-Wall have also teamed up on an accompanying range of outerwear. As seen in its complementary campaign by London-based artist Yagamoto, the unisex line includes a puffer jacket, sweatshirt, long-sleeved T-shirt, sweatpants and a cap in hues of black and dark brown.
Converse and A-Cold-Wall’s collection will release on A-Cold-Wall’s website on Nov. 3. The line will be available on Converse’s website several days later, on Nov. 7.
Converse’s collaboration with A-Cold-Wall marks its latest for 2023. This year, the sneaker label has also released an array of co-branded drops, capsule collections and limited-edition products with a range of brands, including Honda Japan, Rick Owens DRKSHDW and Awake NY, among others.
