Tamara Mellon Opens Beverly Hills Pop-Up

Tamara Mellon has revealed the opening of her new pop-up store in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The boutique, which opened on Wednesday, was conceived to put a spotlight on the designer’s spring summer ’24 collection. Featuring a range of classic pumps, wedges, flat sandals, loafers, block-heeled sandals and more, the outpost offers clients the opportunity to experience the brand in person.

“Los Angeles has always been a prime market so the Tamara Mellon brand is excited to service the customers here with a physical store in the heart of Beverly Hills,” Mellon said.

The pop-up is located at 9638 Brighton Way, Beverly Hills, Calif.

In July, Mellon teamed up with Titan Industries to help fuel growth at her namesake label, starting with an expansion into wholesale. Utilizing brick-and-mortar is also part of this strategy. It’s not the first time Mellon has explored retail. She launched a location for the label in 2018 in Los Angeles that later closed.

Last year’s deal with Titan and its CEO and founder, Joe Ouaknine, gave both parties an equal stake in the Tamara Mellon shoe business.

Mellon, who co-founded Jimmy Choo in 1996, launched her namesake label as a buy-now, wear-now venture in 2013, then restructured in late 2015 and began to pursue a new path. She relaunched as a direct-to-consumer label in 2016.
