Todd Snyder and New Balance have drawn back the curtain on an upcoming release today, unveiling the New York-based designer’s take on the Made in USA 992 for its 10th anniversary. The grey and tan premium sneakers launch next week.
New York’s Todd Snyder is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, honoring a decade of providing top-notch menswear to NYC and the world over. Along this journey, TS has struck up a special relationship with fellow North Eastern brand New Balance, collaborating on projects together for as long as the Snyder’s brand has been active. So, it comes as no surprise that the two have cooked up a special release for the designer’s 10-year anniversary, utilizing today’s hottest NB silhouette, the Made in USA 992. For this release, the 992 celebrates Snyder’s home of New York City through a palette of beautiful grey tones across the mesh and suede upper, while vegetable-tanned leather hits add some color to the design. Silver mid-layers reflect the shiny urban jungle of the city, while 2011 and 2021 branding on the heels cement these shoes as an anniversary celebration.

Launching exclusively from the New York designer’s website, each pair of the premium sneakers will likely come with a price tag of at least $250, given their prior work. UPDATE 2/2/22: New Balance has announced their plans to restock the Todd Snyder Made in USA 992 “Anniversary” edition later this month. With a date of February 11th, 2022, pairs will be available in limited quantities directly from the Boston brand’s website, featuring the same $250 price tag from its original drop in December 2021.
