Nike has a special Kobe 6 Protro “EYBL” for this years’ 2021 league that features a gradient purple design, displaying an out-of-this-world makeover.
Like we’ve seen in the past, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro has surfaced in a special makeover to commemorate the EYBL. Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League is now officially in its 11th year and the 36 team league is expected to be back in 2021 after being canceled last year due to COVID-19. The offering sports a gradient snakeskin upper that features shades of purple while being complemented by a white Nike Swoosh logo and a black heel piece. A violet mesh tongue is accented by the Kobe Protro logo while a speckled black midsole is placed on the bottoms which automatically gives off a galaxy feel. While past renditions of the EYBL Kobe shoes have released to the public, it is still unknown if these will be an EYBL PE or not but with the Kobe and Nike relationship being up in arms, there’s a good chance these hit shelves, at least for a second that is.
