The partnership between Jerry Lorenzo’s eye for design and Nike’s penchant for performance has been incredibly well received so far, and with the recent announcement of the next iteration, things are only looking up from here.

Jerry Lorenzo’s extensive project with Nike has been the talk of the sneaker world so far this year, as fans of the line anxiously await the next release. While we are still a few weeks out, the wait is almost over, as Nike has released a new editorial on their Spring/Summer 2019 collection through their news stream.

The Fear of God x Nike collection will add several new footwear pieces to the lineup this year, highlighted by the mid-top Air Raid 180. While the new look has already been previewed extensively by sneaker leak accounts, the new promo images from Nike showcase them in a way no iPhone photos can. Additionally, Nike showed off all three release colorways of the shoe, including white, black, and a mix of grey straps with a black upper to pay homage to an OG Air Raid colorway.

In addition to the new silhouettes in the Fear of God x Nike collection, there are a few new colorways of last year’s Air FOG 1 and FOG Skylon II. First, the Skylon II comes in a plain white and black build, while the performance-minded FOG 1 comes in the eye-catching green and orange colorways first previewed earlier this year.

Nike and Fear of God’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection has officially been slated for release on April 27th, 2019. While the full details have not been disclosed, we can assume the price tags from the launch collection will carry over, so don’t expect to get your hands on a pair for less than $200. The selection of new footwear will release alongside more new apparel from Jerry Lorenzo and Nike. UPDATE (May 5th, 2019):
The first part of the Fear of God’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection with Nike released last week, featuring the Air Raid and FOG Air Moc. However, we are still anxiously awaiting the highlighter-like colorways first seen last month. Luckily, the Houston Rockets’ PJ Tucker got his hands on a pair ahead of schedule and shared an early look at what’s to come. While there is still no set release date available yet, we are still expecting these to release sometime this Summer.
