Nike’s origins as a running shoe brand have created a massive archive of classic footwear in the Swoosh vault, constantly pulled for reference, or occasionally, a full-fledged retro release. This year, the Swoosh revived the classic 1983 version of the Air Pegasus, one of the brand’s pivotal distance running sneakers from their early years. While we’ve seen the Peg ’83 release in a handful of colorways so far this year, today we have an early look at a clean new “Khaki” look set to hit shelves this month. The new look mixes a stone-like khaki nylon base with matching suede overlays, black Swooshes, and a white midsole to complete the look.

Nike’s latest reissue of the classic Air Pegasus ’83 has been announced for release later this month, dropping online and in stores on October 14th, 2021. The simple “Khaki” colorway of the retro running shoe will likely release from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $100.
