Nike ACG revived their 1999 Air Exploraid hiking shoe early this year, but has yet to release new colors. This week, we got an early look at an upcoming Summer drop, mixing “Laser Orange” with bold royal blue.

The latest archival sneaker to see a rerelease from Nike’s ACG label is the Air Exploraid, a hiking shoe originally released in 1999. The retro was first teased last Fall in a SNKRS Showcase before hitting shelves early this year. Mixing a form-fitting neoprene bootie with rugged leather overlays, the model is slowly lining up new colors for future releases. This week, we got an early look at a new “Laser Orange” style, expected to release in the Summer 2024 collection. The look features a bold royal blue for the inner bootie, adding the vibrant orange shade for the leather midfoot panels. Tan accents make up the mudguard, while black rounds out the rest of the look. In other news, check out this Summit White & Red pair releasing later this year as well.
