New Balance has been on a hot streak of introducing new silhouettes, notably the 2002R in 2021 and the 327 before that. Now, we have an early look at the brand’s latest lifestyle model, the CT302, coming soon.

New Balance’s approach to releasing new models is a masterclass in driving up demand and hype. The first shoe to strictly follow the plan was the 327 in 2019, a sleek, sporty silhouette that made its debut releases in extremely limited numbers and exciting collaborations. Now, you can find a pair at your local footlocker, but for nearly two years they were near-impossible to get ahold of, and remain one of the most exciting new sneakers in recent years. Enter, the CT302. Unveiled earlier this week by NB, the upcoming lifestyle model was shown in a plain white color scheme, accented by shades of tan and blue to show off its unique layering system. Seemingly inspired by vintage tennis shoes, the CT302 features a leather upper with an extra tall midsole unit. Unfortunately, New Balance has not been forthcoming with information regarding the shoe, so we are patiently waiting for their global unveil.
