London-based fashion label KIKO KOSTADINOV has been working with Asics for the past several years on an ongoing series of running-inspired sneakers with out-of-this-world designs. That project continues this month, with the new Gel-Aurania.
Kiko Kostadinov’s collaborations with Asics have been dominant in the fashion world over the past year. With every new project, the hype and anticipation seems to double. Obviously, the footwear has been the star of the show thus far, a trend that appears to continue with their latest work, which was teased by Asics earlier this week. Dubbed the GEL Aurania, the latest silhouette from Asics and Kiko is ready to release this week. Drawing heavily from the Asics archives as well as his own Bulgarian roots, Kiko and team crafted an incredibly unique silhouette, with the shape and openness of a moccasin but the technology and craftsmanship of a running shoe. The GEL Aurania will launch in two colorways initially, one black with accents in burgundy and green, and the second in shades of burnt orange and red.

The latest release from designer Kiko Kostadinov’s ongoing collaboration with Asics, the GEL-Aurania, is scheduled to make its debut later this week, on April 24th, 2020. The slipper-inspired silhouette will be available from both Asics and select retail partners for $180 each.
