The adidas EQT Race Walk made its first-ever retro return this year, as a part of the brand’s 30-year anniversary celebration. This week, Scottish retailer Hanon is set to launch their signature version, the “Working Men’s Club” edition.

adidas Consortium’s globe-trotting anniversary celebration continues this week, this time featuring a release from Scotland’s Hanon boutique and the EQT Race Walk, an original Equipment sneaker that has never seen a retro release until this year. Developed to provide all the necessities for a solid all-around walking shoe, the Race Walk almost looks like a number of other famous Three Stripes silhouettes, but its unique blend of EQT with classic adidas lets it stand out from the rest. For Hanon’s take on the classic shoe, they are looking to old school Working Men’s Clubs in the United Kingdom, a space for working-class gents to unwind after a long day with a pint, some snooker, and the lads. The shoe reflects some of the style of these clubs, constructing the Race Walk from brown suede and and matching corduroy overlays, as well as orange and blue accents, and a purple cord tongue to round out the look.
