DTLR and New Balance are gearing up for another entry in their long-running partnership this month, highlighting the fan-favorite 990v3 with a colorful new “Miami Drive” color scheme.
DTLR’s relationship with New Balance is something special. The footwear brand’s shoes, particularly the 990 series, have been a staple of DMV sneaker culture for decades. DTLR, also a staple of the DMV area, are well accustomed to this, and have formed a unique collaborative partnership with the Boston brand, creating exciting new projects on a regular basis, like last year’s ‘Varsity’ 992, or the ‘American Muscle’ 990v5 the year prior. This week, the two have unveiled their next release, highlighting 990v3 in a clean ‘Miami Drive’ colorway. The best of the 990 family (don’t @ me), this pair mixes the classic NB grey style with bright accents, adding layers of turquoise, hot pink, and smooth orange reminiscent of the city’s beaches and sunsets.

The latest project from DTLR and New Balance, the “Miami Drive” 990v3, has been set to release later this month, on May 27th, 2022. Mixing bright colors into a classic NB grey makeup, pairs will be available exclusively from DTLR stores and online, with a price tag of $195 for the premium look.
