The Air Jordan 6 is currently having quite the moment. Since the original 1991 release, the silhouette has been a fan favorite amongst Jordan devotees. This year, Jordan Brand is celebrating the storied silhouette with a bright new “3M Reflective” release.

The Air Jordan 6 is one of the brand’s most coveted models. When retro releases roll around, fans of the original releases are always around to pick up a pair, which means that Jordan Brand is happy to keep making great new colorways, as well as re-releasing fan favorites. This month has already seen the release of the OG “Infrared” color scheme, as well as the return of the highly coveted “Doernbecher” Jordan 6. Now, we have our first look at an eye-catching new colorway. The latest Air Jordan 6 to leak online covers the smooth upper almost entirely in a reflective 3M coating, making the crisp leather shine under direct light. The rest of the look is similar to that of the “Infrared” look, featuring a black tongue and midsole, infrared hits, translucent outsole, and Nike Air branding on each heel. While this colorway was originally thought to be a collaboration with PSG, the lack of any supporting details on the shoe prove this is not the case.

The new 3M Reflective Air Jordan 6 has not yet been officially announced for release by the brand, though they are expected to launch sometime later in 2019. We can expect this new pair to retail somewhere at or above the standard $190 price tag for standard Air Jordans at the moment, though this remains to be seen.
