adidas’ ZX franchise has settled into the brand’s regular releases, adding new colorways to the classic running shoes with each season. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Cozy’ ZX 8000, coming soon.
The adidas ZX line from the ’80s and ’90s was a massive hit for the brand at the time, and has gone on to become one of their most beloved franchises for Three Stripes collectors. In recent years, the brand has brought the ZX family to a new generation, reviving some of the essential silhouettes like the ZX 8000 as well as introducing new versions with updated cushioning like Boost and 4D technologies. This week, the ZX 8000 has surfaced in a new ‘Cozy’ edition coming this month, reworking the shoe with a soft upper for more casual wear. The look features an all-white terry cloth upper, making them almost like a slipper worn around your home. The shoe also adds exposed foam layers underneath every single panel of the design, with a yellowed color for an aged look.

adidas’ new update for the classic ZX 8000 runner has been scheduled to release later this month, on January 26th, 2023. The ‘Cozy’ edition will be available via the brand’s website as well as select retailers for $140.
