adidas is still chugging away at removing plastic waste from the ocean, and turning them into cool sneakers. This week, we have an early look at a new Parley UltraBoost 1.0 DNA, in neon colors, coming soon.

The adidas Ultraboost has become one of the Three Stripes go-to, all-purpose silhouettes. Originally designed for running, and adopted by the sneaker community for their style and comfort, the UB has settled into the brand’s arsenal with a flourish. Available in dozens of different variations and hundreds of colors, one of the most intriguing ongoing Ultraboost models are the Parley editions, which utilize recycled ocean plastic fibers to create their knit uppers. This week, we have an early look at a new “Neon” pack of the UB 1.0 DNA, which we call a ‘pack’ because of the seemingly numerous color schemes seen in these official images. The first pair we see features a white knit forefoot that changes to black in the heel, while a lime green mudguard, salmon inner lining, and blue midsole complete the look. However, if you scroll down to the more detailed photos, we see that there also appears to be a version with a lime green collar and tongue instead of blue, which also sports a salmon mudguard in place of green. Whether these are two shoes in one pair, or two different colorways, remains to be seen.
