adidas Originals is gearing up to debut the newest member of the NMD, or Nomad, family in 2022. While we’ve already seen a few colorways of the new model, today we know the NMD’s OG Black will be a part of the V3’s debut.
In the past few weeks, we have had several close-up looks at adidas Originals upcoming addition to their NMD franchise, the NMD_V3. The new silhouette looks to emulate the success of the original NMD from 2016, calling back to that shoe’s iconic shape and materials, this time improving on some of the problem areas, most notably by reinforcing the Boost midsole to be sturdier this time around. Today, we have our first look at the NMD_V3’s take on the original Nomad color scheme, which mixes bold red and blue accents into an otherwise jet-black sneaker. These colorful additions are used in a similar manner to the original here, making up the shoe’s midsole inserts, as well as now appearing on the mudguard, heel counter, and outsole for a brighter style. The upper remains entirely in black, which adds some depth to the shoe across the upper’s various materials, which we have yet to receive a full briefing on.

adidas Originals’ next generation NMD silhouette, currently known as the ‘V3’, has not yet been announced for release, though they are currently rumored to make their debut sometime in 2022. The original Black color scheme, accented with red and blue shades, will likely arrive in the initial stages of the shoe’s debut, with a price tag of $160.
